Travelling with a little one usually means making do with whatever happens to be in the apartment cupboard, and that is rarely a bed a child actually sleeps in or a chair they can sit in properly. We hire out two Stokke Tripp Trapp high chairs and a Bugaboo Stardust travel cot. If your child still needs a baby seat, you simply add the Baby Set. We set everything up before you arrive and collect it after you leave. If you are staying in a home we manage, there is no delivery charge, because we are there anyway. The €75 deposit still applies, unless the owner books the hire for you.

What the Baby Set adds

A Tripp Trapp is sold as a bare chair. The Baby Set is what decides whether a baby can really sit in it, and you add it for €10 one-off, however long you stay.

What it costs

One price per week rather than per day, and the longer you hire, the lower the weekly rate. Setting up, cleaning and collection are included.

We have one travel cot, two high chairs and one Baby Set. All prices include 21% IVA. For guests staying in the homes we manage, delivery, set-up and collection are included. If you are staying elsewhere within our service area from Marbella to Torremolinos, we charge €15 for delivery and collection together, and €25 beyond it. We ask everyone who books for themselves for a €75 deposit, including in a home we manage; if the owner books it for you, the deposit does not apply. Hiring for longer than four weeks is possible; we will quote you a price.

What happens next

You send a request

You choose what you need and your dates, and send the form. Nothing is charged at that point and you are not committed to anything.

We confirm within 24 hours

You receive an email telling you whether it works, what it costs exactly and how to pay. Only then is it a booking. If it does not work out, you hear that just as quickly and pay nothing.

Everything is ready when you arrive

We set the chair up at the table and adjust the seat and footplate to your child’s height. You walk in and it is already there. If the home is already occupied, we come at a time that suits you.

We collect it after you leave

You simply leave everything where it is. We collect it and clean it. No packing up and no returning it yourself.

Why hire from us

Hire companies in our area typically charge around five euros a day for a basic high chair, so roughly €35 for a week. On top of that come delivery charges of fifteen to twenty-five euros and a deposit, and you have to be in for their delivery slot. One of them also advertises prices excluding IVA, so the final amount is a fifth higher than the figure shown. With us, €45 is the final price for a Stokke Tripp Trapp with Baby Set, harness and tray, and the chair is already there before you unpack. If we manage your home there is no delivery charge either: we already hold the key, so nobody has to wait in for us.

Not staying in a home we manage?

That works too. Within our service area from Marbella to Torremolinos we charge €15 for delivery and collection together, and €25 beyond it, for example in Estepona or Calahonda. The €75 deposit applies here too. Fill in the form with the address where you are staying and we will let you know whether it works and exactly what it costs.

Is my request a booking straight away?
No. The calendar shows what we currently know, but it is not a live booking system. We check your request ourselves and confirm by email within 24 hours. That confirmation is your booking.
What if my dates are already taken?
We have two Tripp Trapps, but only one Baby Set, harness and tray. So one baby can sit at the table with us, plus a child who already sits unaided. In the summer months a week can already be taken. Do send a request with your dates anyway: we keep a waiting list and you will be the first we call if something is cancelled.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, €75, unless the owner books the hire for you and it goes on their invoice. Then the deposit does not apply, because we have an ongoing arrangement with them. If you book it yourself, we ask for the deposit even in a home we manage: we know the apartment, but not everyone who stays in it, and once you have left there is little we can put right. We ask for the deposit in advance with the confirmation, by Bizum or bank transfer, and return it as soon as we have collected the items and checked them. If something genuinely breaks, we pass on the repair or the replacement value and we tell you beforehand.
How clean is it?
We clean the chair thoroughly after every stay, including the tray and the harness straps. If there is a changeover on the same day we simply do it in between, so nothing is ever skipped.
Can I hire on the day itself?
Usually not. We fit the set-up around our other visits to the homes, so please request it at least two days in advance. Already at the door and in need of something? Send us a WhatsApp and we will see what we can do.
How and when do I pay?
Only after we have confirmed your request. You can pay by Bizum, bank transfer or in cash when we come to set the chair up. Nothing is charged when you send the form and we never ask for card details. If something breaks, we pass on the repair or the replacement value and we tell you beforehand.
Can I extend if I stay longer?
Yes, as long as the chair is not already hired out afterwards. You simply move one column across in the table. For the complete chair the second week costs €30 more and the fourth another €15, so the longer you hire, the lower the weekly rate. Staying longer than four weeks? Then we will quote you a price. Let us know as soon as you do, and we will hold it for you.
Do you hire out anything else?
At the moment only the high chairs. We expand our range based on what guests ask for, and a travel cot is top of that list. If you need something else, such as a pushchair, a car seat or a stair gate, mention it in your request and we will see whether we can arrange it for you.
